A little bit about us...

Nicola Langridge is a professional face and body painter and has been living in Cornwall since 2006. The first BodyFactory was organised in 2010 as a small body painting 'Jam' between four local artists at the independent art gallery 'The Fish Factory'. The following year, due to Social Media and Word of Mouth, 2011 saw twenty artists attending from all over the UK.

Since then the event has grown into a two day event at one of the largest venues in the region - the globally renowned Eden Project and attracts body painters and makeup artists from across the UK and internationally.

Friendly and relaxed...

The main focus of the event is for all attendees to feel relaxed in a fun environment away from the restrictions and formal atmosphere of most competitions.

There is 'No Theme' on the Saturday - that allows artists to create whatever they wish and experiment with technique and medium - hence the strapline "Freedom of Artistic Expression".

It is a welcoming environment that encourages new graduates and those painters who have yet to venture into the body painting industry. Everyone who attends BodyFactory always comments on how a sense of 'family' transcends the event, that sees painters coming back year on year.

Always approachable...

Nicola and Pete are always happy to hear from artists, models, photographers and sponsors who are interested in the event, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any feedback or questions - just use the 'Contact' link at the bottom of this page.
